For pilots and crew
Don't have an event? Set up your own space. Right in the app, no organiser needed and no waiting for a fiesta — this is how most pilots use the app day to day; an organised event is more like once or twice a year. Invite your crew with a code, manage up to three balloons, and share your live map with passengers and friends with one tap.
Flying at an organised event? You'll always get the link to a specific event from that event's organiser (it contains the event code) — without it, neither the app nor the website knows which event to connect to. We just run the app; the organiser creates the event and hands out the links.
🎈 I'm a pilot
Have your own space? Open the app — it recognises you by your device, and you can start sharing for your balloon right away.
Flying at an organised event? Open the organiser's link for pilots (pilot.html?event=…), enter your name and balloon code, and start sharing your position. Your crew and spectators will then see you on the live map for the whole flight.
🚗 I'm ground crew
Invited by a pilot to their own space? Enter the crew code from the invitation, and the app connects you straight to their balloon.
Heading to an organised event? Open the organiser's link for spectators/crew (map.html?event=…) — you'll see every balloon currently in the air on the map, and can navigate straight to the one you're chasing.
App, or website?
You'll find the "Lachez Pilot" app on Google Play and the App Store. Don't want to install anything? The web version works just as well, right in your browser.
Just watching, not driving anywhere and not sharing anything? You don't need the app at all — read the spectator instructions.
Don't have a link from the organiser? Reach out to them directly — they'll send it to you.
