As a spectator, you don't need the app. Just open the live map link directly in your browser — on your phone, tablet or computer, no install needed.
You'll get it from the event organiser, or if an event is currently running, you'll find it right on the Lachez homepage under "Events happening now". If a pilot is flying outside an organised event, in their own space, you'll get the link directly from them — while sharing their position, the app offers them a "Share live map" button for exactly this purpose. You won't find that kind of flight in the homepage list — it isn't publicly listed.
A live map with the current position of every balloon in the air, along with its route and altitude — in real time, for the whole flight.
Ground crew (the chase team driving after the balloon) uses the app and additionally has a button to navigate straight to the balloon. As a spectator, you don't need that button — you're just watching where the balloons are flying.
